During this five-day course you will first have an introduction to Oracle and various Oracle tools. After that there will be a more detailed look into SQL and Oracle SQL. There will be an emphasis on structured writing of SQL statements. This course is suitable for everyone that works with 11g and higher versions of the database. Version dependent features are indicated specifically. SQL is a computer language designed to manage data within a relational database. To interact with the Oracle database, we will use Oracle’s SQL tool: SQL Developer. Objectives The aim of this course is to be able to translate common and actual work situations into SQL statements and run these statements in SQL Developer. Target audience This course is intended for starting Database Administrators, starting Application Developers and other starting computer professionals who are going to work with (Oracle) SQL. Requirements There are no specific mandatory prerequisites for this course. However, some prior knowledge of other computer languages is considered to be helpful.
