There is also an extensive focus on the application of the ArchiMate modeling language in more complex modeling issues, as required for the exam. In addition, there is some room to present modeling challenges from your own practice. Upon successful completion of the exams, you will be ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner. This classroom training is delivered by experienced and knowledgeable instructors who are themselves practitioners. Why take an ArchiMate training course? Enterprise architects need a unified framework to describe their enterprise architectures. ArchiMate is an open standard modeling language for Enterprise Architecture (EA). ArchiMate enables architects to capture and communicate Enterprise Architecture in a consistent and coherent manner across multiple levels of the organization. This leads to better alignment between business and IT. The Exam Exam vouchers are included in the course price. You can take the ArchiMate® 3 Part 1 and Part 2 exams at a Pearson Vue Testing Center of your choice, at a time that suits you. Part 1: 40 multiple-choice questions, 60 minutes, closed book. Pass with 24 out of 40 points (60%). Part 2: 8 scenario-based multiple-choice questions, 90 minutes, open book (electronic copy provided). Answers are scored from 0 to 5 points. Pass with 26 out of 40 points (65%). Both exams are in English. Extra time is granted if English is not your first language. Objectives After this course individuals will have demonstrated their understanding of: The language structure, including concepts How to apply and use: the generic metamodel, the set of relationships defined in the language along with motivation elements How to apply the elements of: Strategy, business, application and technology layers How to apply the concepts of cross-layer modeling How to apply the elements of the implementation and migration layer How to apply the viewpoint mechanism How to apply the language customization mechanisms Target audience The training is intended for architects who will be applying ArchiMate® in their daily practice. To gain maximum benefit from this training, you should have at least a few months of experience as an architect. Requirements Some familiarity with the field of EA (enterprise architecture) will help you in faster understanding.Reading skills in English, the course material is in English.
