The course Red Hat OpenShift Developer II: Building and Deploying Cloud-native Applications (DO288) teaches you how to design, build, and deploy containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift. The course is aimed at developers who want to move beyond basic container usage and learn how to develop and operate cloud-native applications on an OpenShift cluster.
Whether you are migrating existing applications or developing new container-native solutions, you will learn how Red Hat OpenShift helps increase developer productivity and simplifies application deployment at scale. During the course, you will work with developer features in the OpenShift web console, build and publish container images, and manage application deployments using different OpenShift deployment strategies.
You will also learn how to design and deploy multi-container applications using templates, Helm Charts, and Kustomize, and how to improve application reliability by implementing health checks. In addition, the course covers creating CI/CD workflows using Red Hat OpenShift Pipelines, enabling you to automate build, test, and deployment processes and support continuous delivery.
