With Red Hat OpenShift Administration I: Operating a Production Cluster (DO180), you learn how to manage container applications that run as Kubernetes workloads in OpenShift clusters. You gain control over the day-to-day management of applications, so you can keep workloads available, reliable and scalable. This is valuable if you work with cloud-native applications, production environments or infrastructure that development teams rely on.

You work with Red Hat OpenShift 4.18 and learn how to manage clusters through the command-line interface and the web console. Topics include Kubernetes and OpenShift APIs, pods, container images, templates, Kubernetes manifests, network access, storage, configuration management and application updates. You also learn how to connect applications to dependencies such as databases, messaging and authentication systems, and how to identify issues in application and infrastructure layers.

The course is strongly practice-oriented. You practise deploying, managing and troubleshooting containerized applications in recognizable OpenShift scenarios. You learn how to make applications available inside and outside the cluster, connect persistent storage, adjust configurations, perform updates and manage rollbacks. This allows you to apply your knowledge directly in production-focused OpenShift environments, including OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat OpenShift on AWS and Azure Red Hat OpenShift.

After the course, the Red Hat course environment remains available for another 45 days!
