Enterprise Architecture Modeling based on ArchiMate (English)

The ArchiMate® 3 Foundation and Practitioner training course teaches you how to model and visualize enterprise architectures using the ArchiMate modeling language. There is also an extensive focus on the application of the ArchiMate modeling language in more complex modeling issues, as required for the Certified exam. In addition, there is some room to present modeling challenges from your own practice. Upon successful completion of the exams, you will be ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner certified with The Open Group. This classroom training is delivered by experienced and knowledgeable instructors who are themselves practitioners.

Why take an ArchiMate training course?
Enterprise architects need a unified framework to describe their enterprise architectures. ArchiMate is an open standard modeling language for Enterprise Architecture (EA). ArchiMate enables architects to capture and communicate Enterprise Architecture in a consistent and coherent manner across multiple levels of the organization. This leads to better alignment between business and IT. The independent The Open Group ArchiMate® 3 certification validates knowledge of notation, terminology, structure, concepts, analyzing and applying the ArchiMate modeling language.

The exam
You can take the ArchiMate® 3 Part 1 and Part 2 exams at a time of your choosing at a Pearson Vue Testing Center of your choice. For this you will receive the exam vouchers from us. The cost of the exam is part of the total price. The ArchiMate® 3 Part 1 Exam takes 60 minutes, the ArchiMate® 3 Part 2 Exam takes 90 minutes.

• The ArchiMate® 3 Part 1 exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. You pass if you get 24 out of 40 points (60% correct). It is a closed book exam. The Part 1 exam takes 60 minutes to complete.
• The ArchiMate® 3 Part 2 exam consists of multiple choice questions based on 8 complex scenarios. The correct answer earns 5 points, the second-best answer 3 points, the third-best answer 1 point. The distracting answer earns zero points. You pass if you get 26 out of 40 points (60% score). It is an open book exam. An electronic copy of the book is available in the exam environment and is provided only for Part 2. The Part 2 exam lasts 90 minutes.

Both exams are administered in English. If you have English as a second language, you will be given extra time to take the exams.Some familiarity with the field of EA (enterprise architecture) will help you with faster understanding.
