In this AZ-204 course, you learn how to design, build, deploy, and manage cloud applications and services within Microsoft Azure. By the end of the course, the complete cloud development lifecycle is covered, from design and development to security, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.

The course provides in-depth insight into the core components of Azure. Participants learn how to build web applications and serverless solutions using Azure App Service and Azure Functions, how to work with storage and databases through Azure Blob Storage and Azure Cosmos DB, and how to deploy container-based or compute environments. Security and authentication are also key topics, including the use of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, and managed identities. In addition, the course covers integrating application components with external services and APIs, as well as monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting Azure solutions to ensure cloud applications remain secure, efficient, and reliable.

Practice takes place in a fully configured lab environment where you can safely experiment and immediately apply new techniques. Within this environment, a scalable web application is developed, serverless functions are implemented, and data storage is configured.
