In the 5-day CompTIA A+ course, you will learn the skills that every IT support professional needs: working with hardware and networks, managing operating systems and applying security measures. This will give you a solid foundation for positions such as help desk employee or IT support specialist. The course also prepares you for the official 220-1201 (Core 1) and 220-1202 (Core 2) exams.
The first part (220-1201) covers topics such as mobile devices (installation and synchronisation), networking with TCP/IP, Wi-Fi and SOHO configurations, hardware components such as RAM, CPU, storage and cables, as well as virtualisation and the cloud. Troubleshooting hardware and network problems is also covered in detail.
The second part (220-1202) focuses on operating systems, including Windows, macOS and Linux, and also covers security, software troubleshooting and operational procedures such as change management, documentation and backup.
